Assigned as a Business Analyst to assist in their national retailing and EPOS system development. Responsible for investigation into the efficiency and effectiveness of many aspects of their retailing infrastructure and EPOS environments.

Prepared formal Business Case and Functional Specification documents for proposed technical improvements within their group of trading companies. Much time dedicated to the customers, end users and trading company executives ascertaining their precise requirements and involving them and in formal decision making.

Prepared technical specifications; including data flow models and logical/physical database designs for the above systems for their in house programming department.

Responsible for the planned implementation and roll-out of a major piece of bespoke software to 2,500 Allied-Lyons clients. Presented the above system to company executives around the country together with structured training courses and workshop seminars to the trading companies implementation staff.
