2009: Chiemsee - Millstätter See
28th June - 2nd July 2009Alpenevent mountain bike tour across the Alps from Chiemsee (Germany) to Millstätter See (Austria).
This event consisted of about 30 riders who were then split into three teams. One team would take an relatively easy route, another, a more challenging route and the third team an extreme route. We would all meet up again at the end of the day in the same hotel.
We had three very experienced and extremely knowledgeable guides (Nicole, Thomas and Josef) plus superb backup managed by Sabine who looked after our baggage transfer from hotel to hotel, laundry service, menu and hotel room allocation. A perfectly coordinated team that made for a wonderful tour.
